Back in the early '80's this '69 Camaro Z28 used to battle it out on the drag strip at
Cayuga, Ontario with a best time of 11:18 @ 123MPH. Then it was parked...
We were presented with the opportunity to help bring this Z28 back to factory showroom
condition by addressing the metal, bodywork and paint.
Work started by restoring the rear wheel flares back to their original shape. Then we
cleaned up the few areas of corrosion and undid any and all body modifications that
made this a drag car. After metal finishing the exterior, high build primer was applied
and the panels blocked out. When it came to painting this Camaro we followed the
exact factory procedure to recreate the most authentic factory paint effect possible.
