Metelic R2 is a 2nd generation mid-engine sports car designed by Nick Mamchych, based
on Rhythm, his first prototype and built by iNVision Prototypes. Created entirely from
the ground up and completed with a fit and finish that can only be compared that of a
showcar Metelic's sleek body was hand-rendered from metal resulting in unmistakable
looks and a powerful, agile and menacing character. The body was painted with a
specially mixed metallic blue we call 'Tempered Steel', accented by Titanium Silver trim
and Redline Red air splitters.
Built to be driven! The drivetrain consists of an LS series engine mated to an upgraded
Porsche G50 5speed transaxle. Dual Ram Air Induction forces an abundance of cool air
into the engine's intake at the rear for maximum performance. The tuned coil-over
suspension along with Traction Control and Active Handling option ensures a confident
and precise feedback of the road even when the car is pushed to extremes.
Whether parked in the driveway or roaring down the street this hand crafted automobile
exudes an awesome presence.
